****et Booking

We booked a trip with Sta Travel to ****et which included one excursion. A month and a half prior to departure (Aug 15) we advised Sta Travel that we were expecting and indicated the number of weeks I would be on departure. The email was for STA Travel to confirm if all would still be in order with the Airline and with any other service providers utilized (excursions). STA confirmed all was in order via email. A day before the excursion we learnt that I was not able to partake in the activity due to my state and the risks associated. We immediately advised Sta Travel of which their response was a mere we will have to consider forfeiting due to my condition and claiming it back from our travel insurance. <br> <br> Sta Travel total removed themselves from the situation despite that this was an oversight on there part as they had been well informed of my situation and should have been proactive in resolving this. There was no attempt to swap the excursion on our behalf or even make any attempt to assisting us. <br> <br> We have since returned to SA and to date we have not even received a call or email to follow up. The service delivered is nothing short of atrocious .<br> <br> I'm appalled by this. <br> <br>
