ST.HELENA BAY HOSPITALITY -CAPETONIANS AND GAUTENGERS WATCH OUT!!!

This is a general warning to outsiders, especially from Cape Town and Gauteng, visiting this little dorpie, as confirmed by my first hand experience and a long time resident of this little dorpie. This little charming dorpie, employs gangsters and ****s as street workers (falling under Saldanha Bay Municipality), threating to damage the vehicles of public road users and threaten to assault them. Report it to the local police and you find yourself being the joke of male ********** . This is not a general statement, I have experienced it myself, with my son as a witness. Shocking, that it all I can say!!!In fact I am considering a complaint to the police commission about this incident, and how it was dealt with. The municipality worker I encountered at the local municipality office appeared annoyed and irritated when enquiring about something and seeking assistance. She eventually assisted me . The strange part of dealing with this particular individual, is that she was so friendly over the phone, I even complimented about her friendly demeanour to her superiors. Meeting her in the physical was a total contradiction. Letting customers wait, while their chatting and yes TEXTING on their cell phones is sort of a common thing in this little town from my experience and observation. This happened at the one and only petrol filling station too. Dare I say, I could not believe my eyes, when I looked at the female petrol and male attendant on their phones while I stand looking at them awaiting a service. Needless to say they responded a few minutes later after finishing their text messages. It appears to me that somehow when confronted with more than usual work or assistance required from customers there is a general feeling of irritation and definitely a lack of work ethic. This is based on my experience all in three days. I was told the opposite of his little dorpie, but then again this was from the estate agent from whom I bought property. I was told on two occasions within my three day visit, 'that Capetonians and Gautengers think they are all that' from a **** municipality street worker in St. Helena Bay, a uncalled for response that was irrelevant to the situation at hand, but could have possibly pointed to an underlying feeling of resentment for outsiders, from SOME locals, having viewed my number plate. Unfortunately I did not do all my homework , having bought property in this place. This was the first time I spent more than an 1 hour in the place.
