Delivery Late because of Card Machine

I ordered at 1923 and it is now 2045 and my delivery is still not here. An hour + for a pizza??? I phoned the branch around 55mins in and they said it's because they only have 1 driver with a card machine and that there were quite a few people that ordered around the same time requesting a card machine.. How exactly is that MY problem. I do not understand why the consumers need to pay for the business's shortcomings. I could have rather requested collection and I could have collected it and been home in approx 30mins. I find this unacceptable. My pizza isn't here yet but I'm assuming it will be cold as it's been over an hour since I ordered it.
