Do NOT use SSTS Movers for transporting your stuff

If you do not want to get disappointed, DO NOT USE SSTS MOVERS as your removal company source! They (Gerhard) will speak to you so nicely upon sale of their removal services, & make promises they have no intentions of keeping, until you make that IMMEDIATE PAYMENT that they iterate so much, & then you will be treated like trash, that is how my experience with them has gone, after paying them R10 800.00 to move my stuff from PE > Centurion. I made an immediate payment of the 50% deposit as advised by them, was made to wait 6hrs with NO COMMUNICATION from them on the day of my stuff being picked up, was shouted at by the "Ops person" with regards to how "this is a shared load" everytime i inquired on their whereaboutsas I needed to go to work, guess that meant zero communication came with the price as you could tell they had no care in the world. The pickup time for my stuff was scheduled by them for between 12pm and 2pm, the guys came after 6pm & told me they only received communication to come to me at 16h41, & I had been calling SSTS Movers since past 13h00 as I was panicking about the time & the response to me from them was "shared load". After my stuff was picked up 6hrs late on Saturday, June 28, I was in communication with the guys that picked them up and I was told up until late Tuesday, July 1st that my stuff are still in PE & not Centurion where they were meant to have arrived by Monday the 30th as agreed with Gerhard. Gerhard on the other hand was providing me with misleading information that my stuff are enroute since Monday morning, & he and his "Ops person" would avoid my calls, & they would leave me on hold until I eventually dropped the call. The "Ops person" by the way is the rudest person I've ever met in any company, and there is no way that a reputable company would work with someone like that, & Gerhard is the biggest **** of them all, please do not be fooled by him! When I told tge "Ops person" on Tuesday afternoon (Jul 1st) that my kids are sleeping on hard cement because we have no beds, his response to me, which I will never forget was: "You are an irresponsible parent because you were to make provision with either a sponge, another bed, or an alternative means of sleeping by booking a place to sleep at". I was told I was irresponsible by a company that had promised to have my stuff in Pretoria on June 30th and delivered to me on Jul 1st when I arrive, a company that delivered my stuff 4days later than confirmed/ agreed upon, a company that has trucks getting stuck halfway through their journey on multiple occasions, & makes no other means of ensuring that client goods don't miss the ETA, especially being very much aware that our beds and my work equipment are with them. My mom & two toddlers slept on hard cold cement for two nights, the most heartbreaking thing I have ever witnessed in my life, not to mention that I missed work on Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday because I didn't have my stuff with me. & when I mentioned this inconvenience I was met with being shouted at by both Gerhard and the "Ops person", & having the phone dropped in my ear. Dont be fooled by Gerhard, he is nice when selling you their business yet he is the 1st to be rude, followed by the guy in "Ops person", & they laughed at me when I said my family is sleeping on the floor, I guess it was really funny because they didnt have to go through this heartbreaking moment that I had to go through. I regret going with this company, all they want is their immediate payment forward and then they will ill-treat you and give you the runaround. When my stuff were delivered, I had a long list of damaged stuff, and an even longer list of missing stuff. I emailed them and I was told they would have a "national meeting about my missing stuff", they have not been responding to me since then, and I have been emailing them for an update from the "national meeting about my missing AND damaged goods", but unfortunately there is no reply. I bet they read my emails and trash them. I hope no1 ever goes through what we have experienced!
