Out on the street while paying a bond.

I signed a offer to purchased with Steve on 2015.06.01. This is the agent that was selling the house. He told me that it will take 7 days for him to fix the place for me after it's registered in my name. The property was registered in my name on the 20.08.2015.He then changed an said it will take 2 weeks. Right after the two weeks he then said by the end of Septermber you will be moving into your house. On the 25th of September 2015 he called me and told me that the palce still not ready for me to move in. He will start on Monday the 28th with the renovations. Wendnesday the 25th he told me that I will only be moving in by the end of October 2015. Now the first payment was due on the 19th of September and i paid it. He made a payment into my account on the 30.10.2015 for occupational rent. The people has not moved out of the house as they advised that they have not recieved payment as yet. I am paying for a bond but I am out on the streets.
