SR WOOD WORKS MAKING NIGHTMARES A REALITY

My family and I have all been blocked from SR WOOD WORKS Facebook page so a truthful bad review can not be posted to warn all future clients. Unfortunately the bad service started with the building renovations included in quote. Stuart Rodrigues was unprofessional in his dealing with the builders and did not supervise the work which made it take much longer than agreed. Shelving was split when he installed the cabinets, he refused to replace them as they were nailed/*****ed in, I initially understood that adjustable shelving cabinets/units would be supp**** as that is what he advertises on his page. Cutting of boards and the edging were poorly done. The melamine edging that was manually and "factory" app**** to the board was peeling off before it was even completed. Original granite counter top for the kitchen sink unit was of the incorrect size and was reused, even though I was quoted and charged for all new granite counter tops. One of the new granite tops was chipped by Stuart himself and not replaced or repaired. After measuring space for dishwasher a few times, the dishwasher did not fit into the space created as the cabinet was not sized correctly and was not level when installed. Cleats or any form of anchoring, were not installed on/in wall cabinets, they are just held up with one small untidy metal corner bracket. Drawers and pot drawers poorly made, installed and aligned incorrectly with many other cosmetic and structural issues. He then refused to complete job, even though 70% deposit was requested and paid months prior to starting the job. Additional money was requested to purchase drill bits, cash for building material and builders employed as well as rubble removal which was already included and itemised on the quote, this should have all been covered by the 70% deposit paid. My dream of having a beautiful functional kitchen and laundry in my new little home was shattered.
