Bad environment

I bioked this gurst house via bookings.com and paid the full amount in good faith with my credit card. On arrival the room was not adequote as per the website and the view was not a great mountain view as per the website. House was smelly and everything is old. No aircon, breakfast had to be negotiated. I decided to leave as the place had a bad feel. I was told that a cancellation fee will apply,which i was ok with. Had to wait on owner for feedback. They now refuse to give me any money back. I cant see how i would spend a whole wend in a place like that.
