Unprofessional Borehole drilling contractor

I regret to share the deeply disappointing experience I had with SpringTech Investments, also known as Ryanlee Boreholes, and specifically with the individual I dealt with, Leeforce, who I understand is the owner and likely of Zimbabwean origin.

I initially contracted their services to install a borehole at my home, and while the quotation process went smoothly, problems soon began to arise. After agreeing to the initial terms, I paid the required deposits, and installation commenced. However, I was later informed that items had been missed on the original quotation, totaling approximately R3000, which I agreed to cover. Upon further investigation, I discovered that there were additional items purchased which were not required and would not be used, amounting to another R3000.

After numerous claims from Leeforce regarding an outstanding balance, it became clear that I did not owe the R3000 for the over-supp**** materials, as those items had been returned. Yet, the complaints continued.

Two weeks following the installation, an electrical fault arose, and upon contacting Leeforce and providing photographic evidence of the issue, I was met with the unprofessional response that he was "too busy" to assist. I then requested the invoices for the equipment installed so I could contact the supplier directly and attempt to resolve the problem in Leeforce’s absence. He refused to provide the necessary documentation.

Additionally, when I inquired about obtaining a Certificate of Compliance for the electrical installation, I was told this would incur a further cost of R4000.

At this point, Leeforce has stopped responding to my calls, and I am left with equipment that was installed without any guarantee. Had I known the level of unprofessionalism I would face, I would never have engaged with this organization. Furthermore, upon realizing that they are not a registered South African business, I now face the added concern that I may have no recourse.

I am writing this review in an attempt to warn others who may unfortunately consider engaging with this company. The experience has been nothing short of appalling, and I would strongly advise caution.
