THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

<p>I bought a vehicle from The Nissan dealership in springs in march 2015. within the first few days i noticed a few things that needed to be repaired and the dealership took the vehicle back to repair everything.</p> <p>Not everything was repaired but i took it upon myself to do is as it was a used vehicle after all.</p> <p>I also requested all the documents from the dealership, Road worthy certificate, full service history etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>My problems started about 6 months after purchase. My radiator needed replcement after a leak was found, i paid R3000for those repairs myself at Silverton Raditors and approved repairer.</p> <p>It was then when i found out that the road worthy certificate was from 2013 and that the service history had not been updated since the 45 000km mark and i bought the car at 76000km. so i have no idea if the vehicle was serviced in that time.</p> <p> </p> <p>i took the vehicle to Nissan Springs in about November 2015 in order for them to service my car as the warranty that i purchased from them was invalid if the car service history was not up ton date.</p> <p> </p> <p>In january this year my car overheated and now i need a complete new engine after i had taken it for service at Nissan springs.</p> <p>Ebrahim Patel the dealer principle told me that there is nothing they can do for me because my issue only happened after 6 months and according to the CPA they are not liable for any repairs. Then went on to tell me that the only way they would pay for the repairs is if i went to the Ombudsman.</p> <p> </p> <p>My insurance wont pay because the damage was not caused by an accident and the Mechanical warranty is only willing to pay R4000 when i need R90 000 to fix the engine (according to the dealership).</p> <p>Can someone please help me make these guys accountable because im sure im not the only one having this issue.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was my first car which im still paying for although i have not driven it this year.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
