You don't want to deal with Springbok Angling / Springbok Baits.

I always try to support local businesses that provide much needed local jobs. How do you support any business that have no idea how to treat a customer. I phoned Springbok angling after seeing the "One man Bass Hunter" inflatable boat on their website for R3999.00 after looking at the Roanoke and Colorado boats from the USA. I phoned *** on Tuesday 29 March 2022 and spoke Olga. She could not answer all my questions regarding the boat and said the owner will phone me. I phone again on 30 March 2022 and spoke to Olga. I asked if the owner was going to phone me. She said he is in and out and will phone me in the afternoon. I received no call. At got the contact details of Braam Stolz ( I presume he is the owner) - *** - on a Youtube video I saw where he is promoting the boat. I phoned him at 11h30 on 31 March 2022 and asked why he has not phoned me. He rep**** that he is busy. I rep**** that we are all busy I said I almost feel like giving his business a miss - my exact words in Afrikaans were " ek voel lus en se vir julle gaan vang n haan" . He rep**** by using my words " gaan vang n haan" and put the phone down. What a way to treat someone wanting to buy your boat, a customer and might I add - not a cheap item at all. I subsequently phoned Inflatable Solutions in Fearie Glen and ordered two pontoons from them at R6500.00 ( approximate cost depending on my customisation). What a pleasure dealing with a customer focussed business after the severely rude behaviour from Springbok Angling / Springbok Baits - they obviously don't want your business.
