⚠️ ****MERS ALERT! ⚠️ Please be very careful when searching for TV repair services. I am sharing my experience in the hope that it prevents someone else from losing their money or, as in my case, their TV. The company I dealt with is Spring Tech TV Repairs. Their details are:*** info@springtechtvrepairs Technician: Jayden – *** (I believe he may be the owner.) Here is exactly what happened: 23 June: I contacted them regarding the repair of my TV. They sent me a quote, which I accepted. I was then told that I needed to make payment so they could purchase the required part and repair my TV. I made the payment, and they waited for the payment to reflect before coming out. 24 June: They came to repair the TV but were unable to fix it. They then said they would take the TV with them so they could work on it at their premises. 26 June: I followed up to ask when my TV would be returned. I was told that their vehicle had broken down. 29 June: I followed up again and was told that the TV had not actually been fixed yet and that they were still working on it. 1 July: I was told that my TV would be ready the following Thursday. They also offered to let me use one of their TVs in the meantime. 9, 10, 12, 13 & 14 July: They did not respond to my messages, emails or phone calls. 15 July: They finally responded and told me that the mainboard had broken. I was also asked to resend my proof of payment. 16 July: I was told that they would send the courtesy TV. 17 July: They asked me for my address so that they could deliver the courtesy TV. 18, 20 July and continuing until today: I have received no further response regarding my TV. My messages and attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. Looking back, there were definitely red flags that I should have paid more attention to. Unfortunately, I trusted them and am now left without my TV and without proper communication regarding its whereabouts. I am sharing this post to warn others. Please do your research, check reviews carefully and be extremely cautious before making any payment or handing over your belongings. I sincerely hope this post saves someone else from making the same mistake I did. Please share this so that others can be aware. ⚠️
