Second pair of light up sneakers a no go , upset little girl

I am a regular spree customer and usually very impressed with the products and service , but the past 3 weeks has been very disappointing, I ordered my 5 year old a pair of light up sneakers , as any 5 year old she was over the moon until 2 hours later the lights just went out , I contacted spree customer service and with zero empathy the agent said it needs to be returned and process can take up to ten days , my little girl was so upset that I ordered another pair in a different style so that she doesn't have to wait so long , today I received the new pair I ordered hoping maybe the quality will be better than the last again same thing 2 hours later the lights stopped working , my little girl is so upset because even the second pair is not working as it is supposed to and now I have to rip this away and return the second pair , what's happening with the quality guys , you cannot upset little kids like this?
