Non-payment of refund
After waiting six weeks and many promises later, I have still not received a refund of an amount I paid relating to an order that did not get processed correctly. I have made several calls per week, each time being told that someone will return my call, which never happened. E-mails also went unanswered.

Most recently I have been handed over from one customer services manager to the other, each promising that my refund is being processed, but to date, I am still waiting.

Inexplicably I received a partial repayment two weeks ago, being a random amount not relating to my query, and still leaving a large balance to be repaid. Eventually, out of sheer desperation, I offered to convert the refund to store credit, but even this could not be accomplished. I cannot continue to do business with a company that I cannot trust to process a refund when required.

Secondly, the courier company used by Spree is particularly poor. Courier drivers would regularly arrive at my house without prior notification of any sort, sometimes finding someone at home, other times not. On other occasions the company would pre-arrange a date and time with me but never arrive.

We deeply regret this experience which you have encountered with your refund.
We have investigated and have found the reason for the refund being split and not processed as one refund.
Due to the payment option which was used when the order was placed has affected the refund, in that your amount was split and not processed together since you paid by EFT as well as a store credit.
We note that it was partially refunded on the 25.08.2015 (which you received) and the balance was processed on the 10.09.2015. This was not processed as a store credit.
We appreciate the constructive criticism concerning the couriers making arrangements and not making deliveries as arranged, we will highlight this to our couriers.
Again, our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Warm regards
The Spree team.
