Non-delivery of parcel

I ordered an item on Spree and paid for the item to be delivered on the next working day. It is now the 2nd working day (Friday) and the Spree people are now telling me (after I call them) that my parcel will only arrive on Monday. I am very furious as the only reason why I ordered the item was to receive it before the Friday. Why offer a service where they "guarantee" delivery by a certain date, CHARGE YOU FOR THE SERVICE and then NOT DELIVER? When you call them, they just tell you there is nothing they can do because they use third party couriers. I was a loyal Spree customer but I do not see myself ordering from the online store.
