Negligent Customer Service, Quality and Attention to details

A few weeks ago I made 2 large purchases via the Spree.co.za site. One of these purchases included the shoes I had puchased for my husbands birthday, and the other had a beautiful scarf I had waited to go on sale as it was too pricey to buy at the regular retail price. On both of these orders did I request in the order details that someone from Spree calls me so that I can make sure I am around when these orders are dropped off. For both orders, this did NOT occur.

Also, the second order did NOT COME IN THE PROMISED 2-4 day expected period, and so I had to phone around to find out when it would be delivered.

Thereafter, I complained via their suport email address, and to this day nobody has responded.

Now lets talk about the quality of the goods purchased. Not only did the beautiful scarf have thread runs, it also had a little hole. And, the shoe that I ordered for my husband, was the incorrect size. What is supposed to be SA/UK sizes (as per the Spree website), they decided to send me a shoe with the US size. So they sent me a US size 9, instead of a UK/SA size 9 as per the site. HOW CAN A RETAILER WHO PLACES THIS INFORMATION ON THEIR SITE, GET THIS WRONG?

Needless to say, I am SUPER UNIMPRESSED with the way Spree conducts its business, clearly customer satisfaction is not one of their values. To add to injury, I will have to accept store credit from these refunds as the card I made these purchases with is no longer valid.

Hi Mumina
Our apologies for the frustration caused.
We are investigating the lack of response to your emails sent to Spree.
We note that due to the size of your orders, your deliveries were split due to packaging constraints.
We have record that you have been refunded for the scarf to the payment option selected when the return was processed.
Again, our apologies for the frustration caused.
Warm regards
The Spree team

Hi Spree Team
Your response makes absolutely no sense as the parcels that I requested a refund on have not yet been collected! Yet another ***** up may I add because this was supposed to have been picked up today and once again I've had to phone around for this.
I do not understand the response above AT ALL given that I still have the scarf and the payment option selected is store credit.

After calling again last week Thursday to ensure my parcels are picked up on Friday, the delivery agent did not pitch. Once again I called delivery company to find out what happened, and they tell me there was some "Spree system error" that means my pick up could not take place - and nobody thought to alert me. Eventually, after another 2 phone calls my parcels are picked up on Saturday and til this day I have not heard back from Spree - I even made a hopeful attempt yesterday to email that useless support email address and NO RESPONSE.
So today I follow up to find out what is going on and I'm told by the call centre agent that I should have gotten a mail yesterday when the packages were received at the warehouse. I HAVE RECEIVED NO NOTIFICATIONS OR CONTACT. To add to this irkesome situation, he tells me I have to call back tomorrow and only after prodding does he realise that he should be contacting me? WHAT TYPE OF SHOCKING SERVICE IS THIS?
I have still not received any response to my above commentry.
