WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Good day,

I just want to let you know how disappointed I am in Sportmans Warehouse’s customer service.

I wanted to buy the Brooks Ghost 11 shoes, the pink addition. When I saw online that Sportmans Warehouse has it in stock, I paid an activation fee of R375 & activated my shoe booster with Discovery. On the 30th of January I ordered the shoe through Sportmans Warehouse’s online website. It says it will take between 1-3 days. After day 5 I called customer services to find out where my delivery is. They will phone me back they said, but don’t. I phone again & again and eventually got someone to assist the next day only to be told the shoes are not in stock (although it still shows it’s in stock online until today). The lady tells me I have to phone all the sportmans warehouse in the country myself to find out if they have stock? This is ridiculous, who was at fault here. #Poor customer service. So they refund me, but not my Discovery activation fee, only the shoes’ price. I only later realized that as per Discovery’s policy, when you return your shoes for a refund you forfeit the activation fee of R 375, and have to pay it again if I want to activate it. So now I lost R 375. Now I have to phone everywhere and eventually I have to drive all the way to Atterbury to find out they have only one shoe left at Eastrand Mall but they are keeping it for someone else. They can’t place a special order because she shoes are still in stock??? So then again I contacted Sportmans Warehouse customer service to sort this out. They call East rand and ask them to keep the shoes for me but not arranging delivery etc, I now have to drive all the way there to pick it up? I called East rand and they say I must call Centurion and ask them to order the shoes to get delivered there. Now I have to call Centurion again to ask them to get the shoes. This was now 2 weeks later. After I spoke to the lady at Centurion, last week Tuesday, I phone East rand again on Thursday only to realize that she never phoned East rand to request the shoe delivery. Then I call Centurion again and spoke to someone else who then requests the shoe. So, yesterday, 3 weeks later, I drove to Centurion to get the shoes. Guess what?? It’s not the correct shoes, it’s a trail running shoe. So the lady phones East rand to ask them to deliver the correct shoes but the reply is they don’t have stock of the Brooks Ghost 11 shoes anymore. Have sent an email, but no response. I have wasted so much time & money making several calls & driving to several shops as well as my Discovery activation fee of R 375.
