Using vitality on a sale

I went to sportsman’s warehouse this past weekend. They had great sales on which was very exciting (the sale ended on the day I went). I bought a pair of shoes, a windbreaker and a fishing long sleeved shirt. I am on vitality so I get a voucher to sportsman’s warehouse and I was told I could use it along with the sale to get additional discount.

When I got to the front to pay they told me that discovery was down so they couldn’t process the voucher. They told me to pay the normal amount but that I can go to any sportsman’s warehouse the next day to get the refund for the vitality amount. I kept the receipt as I was told to and went to the sportsman’s near me. They told me that because the sale had ended there was nothing they could do and I couldn’t get the money back from vitality after being reassured that I would get it back.

I am extremely annoyed and unimpressed.
