Terrible service and refusal to honour warranty.

I bought a brand new pair of Saucony Peregrine 8 trail running shoes from Sportsmans Warehouse. Within the first 20 kilometers the sole tore when I went through a rocky section on my regular trail run in Jonkershoek. This is unacceptable for a shoe costing more than ZAR2000 (USD140). Saucony and Sportsmans Warehouse then refused to repair/replace the shoe despite it still being under warranty. I have been a Saucony customer for years, and loved my Peregrine 5s, 6s and 7s, but this is not good enough. Avoid this brand at all costs, rather buy a Salomon.
