Sportsman warehouse Tygervalley

Today I went in the Sportsman warehouse in Tygervalley looking for golf shorts. This is the first time I’ve experienced such ********** service from staff.

First thing I noticed was the cashiers cashing up already and not even discreetly it was open and loudly with blank stares from floor staff like my partner and I were not welcomed.

My partner had to interrupt a conversation with floor staff to ask for assistance as his size wasn’t available. The lady who assisted continued talking to her colleague over us and said if there isn’t any sizes available on the floor then there’s no stock.

So he grabbed any brand that was available and tried them on in fitting room. As he was busy the staff grouped in a huddle in the golf section and started laughing loudly and shouting. Then one came to equipment behind the fitting room and started boxing and play fighting with another colleague.

When we went to the cashier to pay a group of ladies where behind quote on quote said “ hoe kan ek my hol lyk” and started laughing loudly with three other staff.

I said not disrespectfully when did it become Comedy Central. We paid in cash and the cashiers already cashed up. Then started opening packets loudly to find our change of R1.30 so we just left.

I have NEVER felt more disrespected, unwelcomed by any store. This is not acceptable! The staff choose when to act and how to act according to management that is present or the time of operation.
