Poor quality aluminium softball/baseball bats

On 11 July 2019 I bought two aluminium softball bats from your Centurion store. A Brett Attraction 32” for R549-90 and a Franklin Venom 25” for R429-90. The 32” Brett Attraction dented badly the second time my son played with it. The Venom lasted about a month before it dented, and by then we could n longer return it. When we returned the Brett Attraction the store manager told us that he was surprised that the batt dented and that it was the first time he encountered a return. My son then asked him to show us what was wrong with the other two Brett Attraction batts standing in the corner behind the tills (with the other returns). They were both dented. He then gave us a new batt with the commitment to return our money if it dented again. The very first ball faced the following Saturday resulted in another big dent. The store manager kept his promise. I do want to warn other prospective buyers that the softball bats sold at Sportsman’s Warehouse are not good quality and easily dent. Given, they are about half the price of the better quality bats, but since you are not allowed to play a game with a dented bat, you might want to reconsider.
