Misleading the customer to make a sale

On Monday, 27/04/2015, I visited your store looking for a pedometer.<br> There were 2 on display with a R60 price difference. A lady came over and I told her that I'm looking for a pedometer that automatically measures your stride as the one i currently have needs to be set manually and the data can be obscured hence my looking for a new pedometer.<br> She advised that the cheaper pedometer needs to be set manually and the more expensive one calculates the stride automatically, hence the difference in price, so I opted for the more expensive version.<br> <br> Low and behold, when we returned home the pedometer that the sales lady said automatically calculates your stride, needs to be set manually.<br> <br> The CPA clearly prohibits retailers to mislead the public, which the sales lady did.<br> Please advise IMMEDIATELY as to how this matter will be resolved as I will NOT drive back to your store, for your *********** staff's mistakes.<br> <br> The unit in question is Sportline Pedometer ***.<br> <br> I will be sending this complaint to the NCC for further investigation as your staff is acting in direct contrast with legislation.
