Adidas hockey stick already chipping badly in only 3 practice sessions vs Gray's.

I bought my 11 year old daughter an Adidas 36.5 Hockey Stick and it's already got 3 major chips on the 3rd practice. Bought it in the last week of Jan 25. The Gray's stick I bought her in her 2nd Grade is still lasting and only started showing wear 2 years back. The new Adidas one hasn't even made it to a match yet. It's ridiculous actually.
