Staff are not properly trained and not professional

I've lay buy a sneaker at their shop on 25 May 2024 size 7 and I've paid 50% towards the lay buy. After 2 days on the 27th of May 2024, I went back to pay a balance. Two of their staff members which helped me on Saturday decided to sell that sneaker which is last size 7,( the one that I lay buy) . when I came to fetch the sneaker they wanted to give me a smaller size 6.

I refused to take the wrong size because i know what I ordered and I have even fitted the sneaker. then they decided to cancel the layby and they said they will take R100 from my 50% deposit (R700). I refused because it was not my fault that they decided to sell my layby and exchange me with the wrong size. The staff started to be rude towards me because I refused as a customer and I know I was right to refuse to pay a cancellation fee which I didn't want to cancel.

This one star is for a manager to intervene and solve the problem amicably. Well done to the store manager Mzamo
