Sportscene card activation

On the 15 May 2023 I went to East Gate sportscene to activate my TFG account, the lady who was assisting me she said I should buy the sneaker cleaning products for my card to be activated. I had a credit limit of R2400 she made me buy products that worth R620. After that she said I can return them after 5 days to any sportscene, so on the 20th of May 2023 I went to Carlton centre to return those products and they told me that the lady who sold this to me was wrong, she didn’t respect my rights as a customer. If I didn’t want to take them I was supposed to take the clothes and when I remember well she said it is compulsory to buy them.
