Refusal to accept Goods

Hello Peter<br> <br> Last week i bought my father who is in hospital a pair of sneakers at Sportscene: The Grove Mall in Pretoria. Only to find out my brother had bought my father a pair already. When i decided to return the sneakers the manager refused to accept the goods just because they where not in a box, yet i have a slip which proves i bought the items. In addition they have proof as well because the items where bought on account.<br> <br> I find this to be very unfair just to say the least. It sounds crazy that a store will deny me from returning there goods just because of a box that i threw away. I mean why would i keep a box if i bought someone shoes? It made practical sense just to give him his shoes in a bag and not a box because he was in hospital.<br> <br> Please assist.<br> <br> Kind Regards<br> Tshepo Kalanko
