Really disappointed

So last month a went to Sportscene and bought myself a pair of Addidas Campus as a personal birthday gift to myself. I then saw the Addidas Campus but noticed that it was suede and asked that if it is *** skin. The reason for asking is because I know sometimes for suede shoes *** skin is used and as a Muslim I’m not allowed to wear anything from a *** so it is important information to me. I then asked the consultant who assisted me if it is *** skin and he said no and I took his word (although i think he might just have been unsure) to just find out a month later that it is *** skin. I am really disappointed in this as I have worn it like 4 times and two of those times I’ve worn it to Mosque which is really disgusting for me as one I took it into mosque and 2 I prayed after wearing those. I really don’t want these shoes and feel that I was let down by lack of information . I always shop at TFG stores as I like the quality or clothes and I do love the service but I feel that I have been let down and in a way that infringe on who I am as a person and my religion.
