Parcel with courier for 3days!!!

On the 20th of October I placed an order on the Sportscene website. I bought 3 items, 1 of the items was delivered to me on the 22nd of October. This was supposedly done because the items come from different warehouses. I have had no further communication from Sportscene or any courier about the other 2 items. I went on to the website to check and the parcel is apparently with the courier since the 26th of October. I am failing to understand why a courier would hold on to a parcel for what is now a whole 3days. I am regular online shopper and I have not experienced anything like this in the past and considering the amount of money I spent I was expecting something a bit more decent. This is a very bad experience which will be very difficult to get over and I doubt I will be making purchases from them in the future. As it stands now I have emailed Sportscene and have not heard back from them. I won't even bother picking up my phone to call because I doubt I'll get any joy.
