No sympathy from Sportscene

My sister had an account with Sportscene and unfortunately she passed away December 2018.

We went to the store to enquire about the proceedings of getting that account closed and to our surprise, the Manager in Welkom (Boitumelo Junction Mall) was very cold while talking to us and didn't even show any sign of sympathy. (Not that they are supposed to but if you are working with people, you need to be kind and considerate.)

The Manager told us that there's nothing she can do, the account still needs to be paid by the estate. At this point, the deceased has no estate, so my question is, will my deceased sister then wake up and pay this? Because clearly all of this does not make sense.

An agreement was made with her and she is now deceased. We then received a letter from Sportscene saying the account must still be paid even when she is deceased.

I am so sad to see the way we are treated initially by the Manager and now this?

This account should just be written off like many other decent stores dealt with this.
