Misleading information when taking a data plan
I was supposed to pay an amount of R600 this month and failed to make payment due to me being very ill - my sincere apologies for this. I received an email stating that I should pay R 1174.39 by 01.12.2018 which I do not have an issue with. However, I have been on your One2One plan where I receive data on a monthly basis. I also added 2 more numbers on this plan. Today all our mobiles are cut off completely. I signed up for data and continued using my phone as prepaid, I recharged as normal. I complained and called One2One but they state that its on contract hence everything will be locked. I have a huge problem with this because the only way we can enter our properties is by dialing it from our phones. Since this morning, we are not able to leave the property. I can only make payment on December 1st when my funds come in, am I supposed to be stuck in this place with no entry / exit? Whilst I understand that I am partially at fault for not honouring my payment, I do not think the actions are fair. Why can you not soft lock the data plan as agreed. I never agreed on my mobile number to be on contract. One2One never provided any service on my calls. Nowhere was I told that my entire service is moved to contract. The 3rd person on this contract had to rush to Durban because her mother is on her dying bed, she is left stranded there and cannot access anything. I am sure you have some humanity left to rectify this. Can someone please sort this out.
Best regards,
