Massive store and to little staff

Yesterday Friday evening I went to the store stood in the line that's in the middle of the store. Waited a good fee minutes. Not sure what was the problem but two cashiers at one till. Being month end and can expect a little more customers than usual. Waited so long my little people in the trolley started nagging, I ask the cashier who is so busy looking at the slip for so long what is happening and said there is another till over there.(women tone not great you are speaking to a customer don't you care) Why didn't she tell us to go to the other till in the first place. All I'm saying is with such a big store you need people to be visible and asking to assist you not dancing and singing .
