Humiliating service at Sportscene Eastgate

I took out an account with TFG Sportscene and I assumed everything was well till the day my son went to pick out sneakers for him to wear... upon paying for the sneaker and other items i had picked out,the same consultant that opened and activated the card for me (Mduduzi) asked if i was paying cash or account, i gave him the card and said account...he scanned everything and told me i had to pay in an amount of R1599 for their 15% deposit on the 1st purchase. Mind you, i was never ever during the process of getting the card told about this 15% deposit that i had to pay in. I asked him why he didn't tell me about the 15% deposit and his response with an attitude was "they are in the documents i told you to sign" and brushed everything off and yelled "Void" and thats when he apologised to the next customer for wasting their time and dealt with the customer leaving my items on the side couch. All the manager did was "Void" the transaction and walked off till i called him and told him about the incident and that i wasn't told about this ridiculous 15% deposit and last time I checked the NCA "protects consumers from unfair business practices where credit is involved" and " ensures customers are well informed about what is included in their credit contract". I deal with contracts and customers on a daily basis and whatever is on the contract i explain to the customer because im not too busy chasing a sale forgetting the Terms and Conditions that might come to bite me should I not tell the customer, instead even after activating my card,the same consultant was too busy pressuring me into taking an item in order to activate my card, his words were "you have to take an item in order to activate the card" even after i told him this account was basically for my son and that I'd bring him to pick something. It is literally the worst experience i have ever received and being dismissed like i wasn't a customer drove me totally insane, in addition to that,my son walking out of the store without his shoes was both infuriating and humiliating .

I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone i know.
