Disappointed and Guttered by the appalling Service of TFG Sportscene Canal walk

Today I was guttered. I was more than disappointed and shocked appalled by the service of SPORTSCENE Canal walk. After finally having a day off and time to drive to canal walk which is not at all close to home, i was excited to finally buy my birthday present to myself and a reward for hard work. I had my heart set on two pairs of Takkies today both which is available at the store hence i drove out especially. I wanted the Nike Waffle One and the Nike day break. The store was super busy and i saw many shop assistance but trying to get someones attention to assist was difficult as they were seeming to enjoying jamming out to the music which was loud. Given there was a definite vibe in the store but this made it hard for them to pay enough attention to the customers trying to get their attention. My husband was also with me as he was looking for an after sports takkie. After some one assisted him with finding his size we asked if there was another colour or similar style the assistant felt it was too much of his time and he simply said no and carried on. My husband said it was too much work trying to get someone else to assist and he left the store. I stayed in the hope that i can just get what i need. An assistant brought me a size 4 in the Waffle one and pointed to someone on the floor and said they will help further and he left. I was left to unbox and try on the takkie which was too big and i needed another size smaller, i asked the one he pointed to after saying saying excuse me about three times loudly and asked if he could assist he just had a blank stare on his face and said Ummm and looked like he was making up an excuse to not help as he paused for almost a minute before answering me. At that point i just gave up and said never mind and left my purchases behind. I saw someone at till and asked him if there was a manager in the store that could help. He simply said no managers today on duty and continued with his personal conversation with a girl. My budget was R5000 on three pairs of takkies and i was made to feel unimportant to TFG and felt that my spend was not worth their time and effort. I left not making any purchases and drove back home empty handed. There was a few customers i noted also just looking lost.
