Damaged sneakers & pathetic online and in store service at Sportscene

I placed an order on 19 Oct 2019 for an all white sneaker. Item was received damaged with yellow glue bubbles on it. I then put in a request for it to be returned and re purchased the sneaker. The second pair arrived in awful condition--the LHS was discolored and dirty inside and the RHS had hair and dirt at the bottom of it. I then laid a complaint and was given a courtesy call and told that I can reorder and the third pair will come in better condition. So I order the third pair. But the third pair happens to be the exact first pair simply repackaged and resent. Terrible terrible terrible. Fed up, I emailed and phoned customer care again. They offered me some form of apology with no real so solution to problem pair 1, 2 or 3. So I offered a solution instead (Locate which store has the sneaker in proper condition and then send it to a PE store). Simple right? Well apparently not. Sportscene then comes back to me saying that I should rather go in store to check the quality of the shoe before I buy it. Okay so then why have an online shopping option???? And am I, the customer, supposed to be doing their quality checks????? Anyway. I refuse and tell them to follow my plan instead... Of course they make me wait a few days before they could confirm whether the plan would be followed or not. During this time, I had requested the damaged pairs 2 and 3 to returned. However, no one pitched. So I decided to go into a PE store and return them myself... So the waiting game continued. Whilst on holiday in JHB this past weekend, I took it upon myself to visit the JHB store to find out what was going on. They confirmed that the sneaker was sent to the PE store and that I would be contacted. HOWEVER NO ONE CONTACTED ME. It was by CHANCE that I called the PE store and they said- oh it's here (4th pair), but they weren't sure why and for who. I mean... Are you kidding me?? Absolutely pathetic. I cannot believe the drama regarding one plain white sneaker. Sportscene claims to sell authentic brands that are quality checked and approved, but this experience has led me to believe otherwise. Sportscene explain this poor service to me because I do not understand it!
