Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct and Store Safety

I am disappointed with the level of service and the safety conditions at Sportscene store, Eastegate Shopping Centre by the rooftop entrance. My mother and I visited the store today, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the store was untidy, with shoe boxes scattered across the floor, creating a hazardous environment. As we were browsing the sneaker section, my mother slipped on an empty box and fell. Regrettably, instead of offering assistance, your employee saw the incident but chose to ignore it. He not only failed to help but acted as though he did not witness what had happened.

When I confronted him, asking why there were empty boxes lying around and suggesting that the store should be tidied up, he pretended not to hear me and made no effort to address the situation. This lack of concern for both store safety and customer well-being is unacceptable.

I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional behavior exhibited by your staff. It is clear that they prioritize sales over customer safety and well-being, which is ********* and concerning. I expect better standards of customer care and store management from a brand like Sportscene, and this experience has significantly undermined my trust in your store.

It is essential for staff to be trained to handle such situations with care and professionalism, prioritising customer safety above all.
