BAD SERVICE

bad service

last week my younger sister went to buy vans which were on sale at Sportscene Pietermartzburg church street, the Vans sneakers were a size 5 and 6. she said they did say it different sizes and she tried them on and she was convinced that it did show any difference hence she loved the vans and were like half price. when she came home she fitted the shoe again and it just was not right and she ask me if i can go change the shoes for her since Sportscene is next to my work place. the item was bought on the 31st on Janaury 2020

So on the 5th of February 2020 I went to store to exchange the gentleman who assistant me at first was very nice it just that i did not catch his name and asked me to go the till and that when the the problem started

they refuse to exchange the item telling me that my sister came to the shop and bought the the sneakers well aware it was different sizes and they explained to her, but now my problem is she does not like the sneakers hence one is bigger than the other. And this is a teenager I am talking about of course at the time she liked sneackers , so now she must be stuck with them cuz she will not wear them and it not like we were asking for a refund we were gonna take something else.

yes she bought the shoe but the guy did not say she can not exchange.

the manner of which the staff came at me was unacceptable they all ganged up on me saying my sister was aware it was different sizes and they will not change it. so i left the shop.

when i went home i Read the Terms and Conditions no were it says no exchange, there is specific term they used G something. As consumers we have rights and we must exercise our right.

i don't understand why you sell different sizes at the first place it just wrong.

in Future please right that on your terms condition and make sure that customers are aware of it. and i will be going to Sportscene and i demand for an exchange or refund.

sportscene your staff must go for training on how to treat customers and must have manners.

went home and look at the back of the receipt and it does not say anything about different sizes
