Membership Cancellation

I have complaint about the company called The Gym Company - Maponya branch. I signed a 3 year contract in 02/2012 and my membership number is 28410P which is supposed to have ended 28/02/2015. The service and their process to cancel the membership is pathetic to say the least. I phoned in December to query when is it ending and the process to cancel. They said I must phone 30 days in advance to cancel, when I phoned in January to cancel I was advised to write a signed letter and bring it to the Maponya branch. I went and the gentleman at the reception said the ladies that do the cancellations have left already I must come back the next day. The next day on a Saturday I went there coming from work also told there is no one to help me with the cancellation, then the gentleman took the letter and promised he will give it to them on Monday and promised to call me, till today no one phoned me. I phoned twice after I left the letter there and once spoke to Nandi who said it is not cancelled yet and then promised it will be cancelled, this is now a week after I dropped off my letter with the membership card. Till this day I don't even know if they have even cancelled my membership or not.
