Gym membership still being debited even after term

I fail to understand why Sports and Fitness Club in Alberton wants to blacklist me after two years my account has been closed. I was told by one of your consultants in 2013 that I have to have a written cancellation which I did and submitted to him his name is Joe .I have sent in several emails to Nicci whom I am told has left the company and the new lady Sonnika that took over from her has no clue what she is doing? why do I still have to pay the gym after all these years? Can someone clarify this to me
