Worse than the South African Postal Service. Avoid.

These guys are honestly a stain on all mycologists and should not be used by anyone. Saying they suck is an understatement. It would be fair to say they offer some of the worst service in South Africa, coming very close to the levels of ineptitude offered by SAP, SAPO, and Home Affairs, I kid you not

They were quick to take my money. Correspondence was poor and no tracking numbers were received, never the less, the experience was okay up until this point. Culture syringes were received. Every single culture was badly contaminated with yeast.

Let the nightmare begin. Cultures were tested on agar, grain and LC. Every single test returned yeast. I'm the first to admit that things go wrong in mycology, and reached out to provide professional feedback. Photos were supp**** as requested, and update images were supp****. Nothing further was heard from SporeSpot Multiple follow ups were sent, and ignored.

Their attitude if poor, they take money for inferior goods which do not perform, and they do not supply the microscopy spores advertised, they supply cultures. They do not support their customers. Honestly, it's a joke.

I have since worked with their two largest competitors, who are a little pricier. Goods are all in good order. Communication was excellent, And support great. I did get one contam out of 20 cultures, which was quickly resolved.

Spore Spot is an ********* ****. Their free syringes are not worth the containers they're packaged in, and neither are their premium paid products. Support anyone but these guys. You'll get something in return.
