Poor service at drankensberg spoilt green eco-spa

I called to book a full body massage of 8 people.

I was told to pay the total cost in advance, which I did.

I deposited R5200 on 4 May 2024 for the 8 full body massages on 12 May 2024 (Mother's day).

On mother's day I indicated to the owner/manager that we were running a bit late since we were traveling from far and that we will be late but we were coming.

We arrived later than we were expected with 4 elderly ladies who were all looking forward to the massage.

We were turned away on the spot because we were late. I asked about the refund I was told there will be no refund. The entire R5200 was going to be forfeited without the option of giving us another day.

This policy was told to me at the time of booking. Had i known I would tried other spas in the area.

The receptionist is very cold and lacks sympathy. Her tone is abrupt and rude. The owner / manager is equally rude and cold and very condescending.

I am shocked that sun international can associate itself with such poor service.

My rating for drankensberg spoilt green eco-spa is zero. I will never recommend it to anybody. The service is terrible to say the least.
