Splendid pools

We had a new pool built by Elmar and his team. In the beginning he came across very professional and friendly and as a result was happy to go ahead with using Spendid pool. Only time we ever saw Elmar was at the beginning of the build and at the end... when we had questions, he would send someone else to attend to what ever the problem was. Pool was complete and it was a matter of weeks and the marbelite has started with issues with marking and pitting and coming apart. Elmars argument was that it was a result of "too much chemicals" and if we wanted him to fix it he would do it as cost, which means we would cough up approx. Another +20k to fix his sub standard work. We had a professional pool company looking after our pool and even went as far as getting a number of other pool companies come out to test the water and every one of them came back as being perfectly balanced. Elmar has promised to meet with us to discuss issues but we have not heard of him since. After spending a large amount of money on the build we are very disappointed and would warn anyone looking to use Spendid pool services. I will continue to wait for him to contact me and give feed back if that ever happens
