SPLASH CLEANERS

I sold my house and the tenants had left it in a filthy state. I urgently needed to have the house deep cleaned from top to bottom. I went online to look and got a call back from Splash cleaners. Sandile was very polite on the phone and came to look to give a quote - which went up from the verbal quote according to house size from R1600 to R2400. I bit the bullet and accepted. When we did the walk around I specifically asked for the oven and fireplace to be cleaned. He explained he uses men and they have machines to clean everything. On the day they arrived - none of them were covid compliant and none wore masks. He was late and only brought one person with him and no buckets or cleaning equipment who had to just sit around and wait until eventually hours later 3 more people arrived. They made more mess than cleaned. It was just awful. What i was told would be a 4 hour job turned into 8 hours. Sandile was very rude. I then had to pay R250 more to have the oven cleaned - and then he told me he was leaving all the cleaning chemicals on the oven - and I would have to finish the job the next day. When I paid him I paid R50 short as he had not cleaned the fire place as I had asked and also in light of the fact that he left the oven for me to clean. It was dark and late and he called all his guys back in - pulled up a chair and sat down and said they were not leaving until I paid the R50. As a woman on my own I did not feel safe at all and paid so he would get off the property. He did not give his workers a sip of water, a bite to eat - or even a break during those 8 hours. What a nightmare - and then I still had to pay someone to clean the house as none of the detailing was cleaned. I do not recommend this company at all.
