Thumbs up for SpesCare, Stellenbosch

I recently had bi-lateral knee replacement surgery, and was moved to SpesCare, Stellenbosch, after the second day for rehabilitation. What a facility! From the moment I was moved from the ambulance into my room, I felt cared for. The staff would look in on you every 30 minutes, just to make sure you were comfortable and not in pain. Each room has a CCTV camera, some patients prefer blanking them off, so if they see you moving around they are quick to come and see if all is well. As a result I never needed the call button. The rooms are spacious with ablution facilities - bigger windows would have been nice, though. Each day, the physiothe****** would take you to the gym for your session. This facility must be seen! They have everything from a car to a heated pool, just to be able to assist the patient with proper rehabilitation as per their needs. All the staff, from the doctors right down to the cleaners, are professional and helpful. Your care is their number 1 priority, and it shows! One never wants to think of facilities like this, but it made a massive difference to my recovery.
