The pitfalls of autoservice.

I drove into Speedy Tyres & fitment centre 6th St Wynberg Sandton a week ago and asked them to check my Yaris's front brake pads as they were making a noise. Although the manager asked his assistant what I wanted, he at no time mentioned a fee for inspecting my brake pads, then I was told my brake pads were fine but there was a labour charge of R150 for ten minutes. I then asked if they would adjust my hand break while I was there and was told, by the manager, to make another booking as there wasn't time now for a job that could take more than an hour and may involve a service of my rear brakes ,and could cost over a thousand rand. I then booked my Yaris into Toyota ****arney for an adjustment of the hand break, which took ten minutes and cost nothing, Thank You Toyota ****arney.
