I was looking for a quote to repair a JVC tv screen and left my details on Fast Quotes. I received a call from Leston Moodley (mobile number ********** & landline number ********** located at 12 York Street in Randburg) who said he could replace the screen for me at my house.

I paid a 50% deposit for this repair and was quickly told that the screen would take 3 days to arrive and we made arrangements to meet at my house on a Saturday morning. The Friday before the technician was to arrive, I received a call from a Private Number which turned out to be Leston. Now the screen would only be arriving the following Monday. And so we made other arrangements for this repair, but what do you know, nobody pitched up!

I had a bad feeling after receiving the call from the Private Number, so I started Googling all the information that was on his "tax invoice". The VAT number he has listed does not exist, the company registration number is also bogus.

We have tried to call him to find out where his technician is, but he is dodging our calls. So here I am reporting him on HelloPeter, but will also go past the police on my way home and report him there as well.
