BEWARE OF ********

Hi Guys

So I had gone on Assist247 to get a quote to fix my JVC Smart TV. Leston seemed professional over the phone and very trustworthy. I was not aware that he was very seasoned in being such a *****. He gave me a call to say he got my details from the Assist247 website.

He said he would come have a look at the TV and try repair it at my house and if he could not repair it he would take it to his workshop and inspect it and give me a call with the findings and tell me how much it would be to fix it

He came to my house and took the tv without inspecting it. I then later received a call from him saying it will be R2000.00 to repair to the tv.

I told him that I could not afford to repair it at that cost and will pay him his inspection fee which was supposed to be R295.00 ex Vat

He took 2 days to send me the invoice for the R295.00 and when I received the invoice the price had gone up to R395.00 ex Vat. So I paid the invoice R450.30 including Vat after receiving an email from a different email address stating that I pay the invoice before close of business or R250.00 will be added as a storage fee to the invoice for everyday that I do not settle his invoice.

After paying the invoice it has been a month and a half that I have been calling him to follow up as to where my tv is. He either makes excuses or says the guys he works with have delivered my tv.

Today he threatened me with more storage fees saying I can come collect the tv at his 12 York Street address which does not exist.

I am absolutely finished with this ******** and need help.
