Totally uncooperative
Pathetic Service. Save yourself the headache. The list of problems we had with this company goes on and on. Here are just a few to mention. We could not get straight answers from the owner Divan. There was always "something else" wrong with the car after any given repair that he could not put in writing. He always reverted any communication in this regard to long Whatsapp voice messages that never answered the questions we had and often included derogatory and defamatory comments. He always insisted that payment for every new additional repair be made up front and then was angered when we had to chase him for follow-up or progress on the repair often insinuating that he was doing us a favour to repair our car that was already paid in advance and we had to wait because he was busy with other work. When we received a report from Tiger Wheel 'n Tyre where alignment was done of components being damaged that were supposed to have been replaced by Divan, we were unable to get a straight answer from him about the conflict in diagnosis. We paid for 2 new 15 inch tyres to be fitted to the vehicle and when it was eventually collected by our staff after we were unable to resolve the outstanding repairs due, we discovered that they had fitted inferior damaged mags and used tyres to the car instead of the new tyres they had sent us pictures of. In addition to this, they had previously threatened us for storage costs yet they had been using our vehicle *******ly and put +_ 17000km on the clock during its stay at their "workshop". Since collection, we drove the vehicle and discovered that the driver's seat was totally worn out and torn (may not have been their doing though) although they were asked to do a full vehicle inspection prior to them starting any work on it as a prerequisite to us deciding to incur costs of repair or rather getting rid of the vehicle, and this seat and many other problems were not mentioned up front. Some components and parts also went missing from the car that they claimed no responsibility for. The engine was severely underperforming when we sent it to them. This was repaired and other than the occasional misfire it is running much better than before. The problem we now have is that because we were not informed of them putting non-standard mags and rims on the car and hence we didn't inform our insurance of such, our insurance is not prepared to pay for, or find a matching rim for the one that disintegrated on the N2 recently almost causing a fatal accident. I wish we didn't have to deal with Speed-pack in the future but in order for fair trade to prevail for all, I feel it my duty to sue them for ******* use of our vehicle and loss of its value due to this ridiculous unauthorised mileage increase, not to mention the other irregularities. I wish no-one else has the same experience with this or any other motor dealer ever.
