Selling defective items

Purchased a set of motorcycle indicators. Fitted them to a s******. Unbeknown to me the globes which were inclusive, are too powerful for the plastic housing of the indicator units, withing 3 days of using had melted the internal indicator housing. Returned to the store, & they refused to acknowledge the problem, refund or explain.
