faulty tyres blamed on their suppliers
bought a set of 4 tires from speed-It and a few weeks go by and started having issues of the tires losing air pressure gradually but continuously, took them back to Speed it and was first informed that the supplier does not insure the tires, when I stated that I did not buy the tires from their supplier I bought them from speed it the response changed to we will send them through to the supplier for evaluation of claim.in less then 24hrs I got a response from speed-IT to say they Speed-IT will not replace my tires due to damage to the tires which was caused by the initial problem.when I requested the name of the person(female) I was talking too she refused to give me her name and said I can try and do what I want but the store(speed IT) will not replace the tires. At this point I don't know who I'm dealing with here if it's speed-IT or the supposed supplier.
The afternoon of Tuesday 12 May 2026, after work I then went back to business in question - Speed-It tyres, to go follow up on my query and of course because my tyres were and still are with them.
I was met by the same female employee who called me about the 'report' findings on my tyres. She then handed me a document typed out by herself and not from the 'supplier'. We debated back and forth about me needing an actual diagnostic report from the supplier to which she later said there is no supplier, the tyres come from them (Speed-It). I then requested their company policy as per my previous visit to better understand how their warranty or return policy works to which she pointed me to adverti*****t posters on the wall. I told her I'm going to my car to get my phone so I could take pictures of the posters so that I could better read through them at home as I was coming from work. When i returned with my phone while taking the pictures I felt slap on the back of my head. When I turned around to my surprise it was an older gentleman, who I assume to be the business owner along with 2 or 3 other males carrying tools shouting and swearing at me. I asked the old man why did he slap me. He then proceeded to strike me in the groin area with a 4 pound hammer! The other males then positioned themselves to what seemed like it was to also attack me if i retaliated. I was in so much pain but held myself from falling to ground fearing that they were all going to attack me, still standing there asking them why are they hitting me! One of them grabbed my phone out my hands, as they were all now shouting and swearing at me to leave their premises and go to police If I felt like it but they couldn't care less.
If this is how they (Speed IT) handles customer complaints, by assaulting and taking away customers possessions, I WOULD TELL THE WORLD BY ALL MEANS TO AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.
