YOU GET AUTHORISATION NO BUT THEY STILL DON'T PAY

In December 2014 y son went in for operation I phone Spectramed for auth no the lady told me they will pay for operation. Months later the I receive attorney letter from specialist and hospital. I phoned the medical aid they told me they only cover R800. I told the operator but when I got the auth no they told me they cover the operation. I send fax to CEO no reply. The operator told me to send paper claim I did that still no reply. They didn't even send statements for months. I paid the hospital R8800-00 the anestetic R2200-00 and the specialist R1700-00. Why do you have a medical aid, when I got auth no from them why didn't they told me they only cover R800 for operation never ever did I get any documentation stating that they only cover R800-00. They are dishonoust if you with Spectramed please consider another medical aid. They cannot even correspond with you on claims you will get letters from attorneys stating that your medical aid didn't pay
