Why does broken jaw bone fall under dental.

I must say most confused medical aid in the world. I spent 3 days an hour and a half per day on the phone with them. They don't even know how to put you through to the correct department.

My problem is I had a broken jaw bone. Now they will not pay as they say it is a dental procedure. I do accept that the other outstanding amounts for the tooth extractions I do have to cover. This happened 19th April to the 21st of April. I feel they can pay for the repair on my jaw bone. As this is what you would expect from a hospital cover option.

I did get authorization when I was in hospital. Still they feel that my jaw bone is in my mouth and I brush it every day.

WILL DEFINITELY MOVE TO A MORE EXPENSIVE MEDICAL AID WHERE I WON'T HAVE STUPID CLAIM PROBLEMS LIKE THIS.

Secondly I don't know where you are supposed to get the time to phone these blokes.

Regards,
